In 2022, the FIFA World Cup is in full swing, and Hublot, which has been the official timekeeper for the FIFA World Cup for the fourth consecutive tournament, has launched a limited edition Big Bang e FIFA 2022 Qatar World Cup smartwatch specially designed for the event. Its unique selling point is the ability to display team lineups, player information, and even goal information, allowing collectors to participate in the exciting matches in real-time along with the 129 referees.
This smart watch features a larger and higher-resolution display, as well as a newly designed football application. When the game starts, the watch will automatically enter “match mode” and activate the “timeline” function: the scale on the outer edge of the dial will be divided into 5 sections, representing the first half, second half, injury time for each half, and halftime break. When a goal is scored, the watch will play an animation and display the name of the scoring player, and the corresponding minute mark on the scale will be marked with a football icon. The watch will also have relevant displays for yellow cards, red cards, and penalties.
The 44mm watch case is made of sandblasted and polished black ceramic and black titanium metal, equipped with an upgraded version of the Wear OS by Google (Wear OS 3) system powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor. It also features an accelerometer, gyroscope, microphone, speaker, GPS, and heart rate monitor; compatible with Android and iOS systems, waterproof up to 3 ATM, limited to 1000 pieces.
