Under the leadership of Edison Chen, CLOT often releases cute and playful collaboration series, maybe to make his daughter Alaia happy! Recently, the brand has once again collaborated with Converse, drawing inspiration from the beloved giant panda, to reinterpret the classic shoe models Chuck 70 and Jack Purcell.
Whether it’s the versatility, details, high-quality materials of the Chuck 70, or the iconic classic style and highly recognizable “smiley face” logo of the Jack Purcell, they have left a deep impression on the fashion world. Therefore, CLOT chose these two shoe models as the blueprint, creating this collaboration series with a pure white tone and textured feel.
Both pairs of shoes are “covered” in the iconic black and white color scheme of the giant panda, and feature a unique natural fur effect, making each pair distinctive. The inner and outer sides are made of white long-haired velvet material and synthetic leather respectively, paired with black furry All-Star logos and furry tongue fabric, with a knitted lining; the semi-transparent white sole is matched with a black outsole imprinted with panda paw prints, very contemporary. In line with the overall creative concept, both pairs of shoes come with black and white laces, as well as panda-themed shoe boxes.
