Moncler, known for its high-quality down jackets, has made a name for itself with the “Moncler Genius” project since 2018, collaborating with talented designers of different styles to spark a variety of creative ideas. Recently, the brand released the 2 Moncler 1952 men’s collection, where designer Sergio Zambon not only continues the bold colors and dynamic cutting lines of the past, but also collaborates with the renowned British brand Barbour known for its waxed jackets, creating new sparks.
Sergio Zambon captures the fleeting changes in the creative world through the dual perspectives of an anthropologist and a pop artist, conveying people’s eager desire for travel and relentless pursuit of sports and thrilling experiences. He injects a sense of carefree impression derived from the subcultures of London clubs into his designs, using rounded and oversized silhouettes in clothing patterns, as well as vibrant colors with high saturation such as orange, lime green, bright yellow, brick red, etc., to activate visual senses and exude a street-style vibe.
In addition, Sergio Zambon also collaborated with Barbour, one of the beloved brands of the British royal family, using its iconic waxed jacket silhouette, paired with bright trendy colors, adopting a long trench coat silhouette and embellished with dense leopard spots.
