Many audio enthusiasts have a special fondness for the Japanese brand Technics. Although the brand disappeared from the market for a period in 2002, in recent years it has actively launched new products, including the two new true wireless earbuds EAH-AZ60 and EAH-AZ40.
The EAH-AZ60 features an 8mm bio-cellulose diaphragm dynamic driver unit, which has a sturdy and flexible nature, allowing for more detailed reproduction of tones. Behind the driver unit, there is an “acoustic chamber” that controls the airflow and pressure generated during operation, enhancing bass power and improving mid-range sound; combined with the newly developed tuning system, adjusting the space in front of the driver unit makes the sound output more expansive. Additionally, these true wireless earbuds also feature “Hybrid” digital noise-canceling technology, which combines feedforward and feedback technology with analog and digital processing to cancel out external and internal noise.
As for the other EAH-AZ40 true wireless earbuds, they are equipped with a 6mm PEEK diaphragm driver unit and are marketed with a more compact design. Both earbuds feature JustMyVoice intelligent voice technology, using two MEMS microphones with beamforming technology to capture the user’s voice and reduce ambient noise; additionally, an extra voice detection microphone is added to actively detect the user’s voice, filter out unnecessary noise, and deliver clearer conversations during calls. The EAH-AZ60 and EAH-AZ40 earbuds can provide 7 and 7.5 hours of continuous use respectively, with the charging case providing 24 and 25 hours of use, and both earbuds are IPX4 waterproof.
