For over a decade, Paul Smith has been collaborating with Manchester United, providing tailored uniforms for the players and team since 2008. In spring/summer 2022, Paul Smith once again partners with them to redefine the players’ attire with a new cutting style inspired by casual sportswear, blending it with traditional suits.
To showcase the constantly evolving tailoring techniques, Paul Smith has tailored a brand new spring/summer casual suit for Manchester United players, coaches, and team training staff, including a lightweight breathable lined classic jacket, as well as a convenient drawstring suit trousers for ease of movement, retaining Paul Smith’s iconic modern sophistication while emphasizing the comfort of the clothing.
In addition to fashion, Paul Smith also collaborates with the Manchester United Foundation (the club’s charity organization) to provide 25 tailored suits to young men and women participating in the club’s apprenticeship program, covering various professions from hospitality to operations. These suits will be customized based on individual requirements and measurements at the Paul Smith Manchester flagship store, in response to the Manchester community project, providing internship opportunities at the Manchester store and organizing seminars for young professionals.
