Leica recently launched a new product, this time collaborating with Insta360 to release a one-inch panoramic camera called ONE RS, specifically designed for 360-degree panoramic shooting. This camera, equipped with two one-inch sensors, has been upgraded to an impressive 6K image resolution, and its dual-lens panoramic design allows creators to easily capture creative scenes.
ONE RS panoramic camera has freed itself from the limitations of large shooting equipment, whether used for professional film creation, VR content production, outdoor adventures, or corporate applications. Its sleek design allows creators to use innovative shooting methods. Weighing only about 239 grams, the ONE RS is equipped with two one-inch CMOS sensors, a 35mm equivalent focal length of 6.52mm, and supports 6K panoramic videos and 21 million pixel panoramic photos; with a battery life of up to 62 minutes, the photo mode offers starry sky mode, Burst nine-shot, PureShot pure photography, and a total of 6 options.
As an expert in optical and digital imaging technology, Leica’s collaboration with Insta360 has provided valuable professional insights into the development of photosensitive components, allowing the ONE RS to reproduce the world with sharp, realistic colors, and details even in challenging shadow and highlight situations. In addition, its dual-lens 360-degree panoramic imaging technology allows the camera to capture all actions in a single shot, and reconstruct and customize action scenes using the Insta360 app after shooting, including immersive panoramic views, traditional flat views, and more.
