This year, IWC Schaffhausen unveiled the latest works of the two major TOP GUN series at the Watches and Wonders watch exhibition, and even intentionally collaborated with the well-known color manufacturer Pantone to create a brand new Ceratanium® ceramic watch in the Woodland Green color scheme. Three months later, IWC continued the “green watch” theme and surprised by announcing a new “Racing Green” work for the IWC BIG PILOT series made of stainless steel.
As the iconic series of IWC Schaffhausen, the model IW329306 of the BIG PILOT 43 is crafted with stainless steel case, and the dial is painted in Racing Green color that has been used by British racing cars since 1903, integrating the elements of extreme sports into the BIG PILOT with a flying gene.
The new Racing Green BIG PILOT 43 features a deep, distinctive green dial, with rhodium-plated hands coated with luminescent material for enhanced nighttime visibility. The watch is equipped with the in-house IWC 82100 movement, featuring a Pellaton winding system and ceramic components, providing a power reserve of up to 60 hours. It is worth mentioning that the new watch will come with a matching rubber strap and an EasX-CHANGE® quick strap change system, allowing wearers to easily install and switch between multiple straps in the series.
To echo the IWC Schaffhausen and BIG PILOT series with a refreshing new color, the new watch will simultaneously launch a series of color choices, including black, blue, red, brown, yellow, green, gray, orange, light blue, and olive green. The all-new BIG PILOT 43 Racing Green will be exclusively available on IWC.com and IWC boutiques starting from June 2022, with the new rubber strap available from summer. Registering for the My IWC program can extend the standard two-year international limited warranty to six years.
