Another heavyweight collaboration is here! The Burberry x Supreme series is suddenly exposed! Streetwear leader Supreme once again steps into high-end fashion, all fashion enthusiasts get ready!
Although London Fashion Week has come to a successful close, the always-talked-about Paris Fashion Week is in full swing, with no shortage of topics. In light of this, it seems that Burberry wants to grab everyone’s attention. Since the beginning of this year, rumors have been circulating online and on social media, and the final news was first revealed by American rapper A$AP Nast on Instagram, announcing this heavyweight collaboration for the brand.
In the post, A$AP Nast is wearing a denim jacket and pants with Burberry’s iconic check pattern, creating a seemingly unremarkable outfit. However, the back of the outfit features a large branded logo, with Supreme’s signature Box Logo positioned below the Burberry logo, continuing the collaboration tradition of these leading streetwear brands.
When everyone thought that the collaboration series would be gradually revealed later, Burberry’s official has quickly followed A$AP Nast to confirm the news on IG and explain the details of the release. In addition to A$AP Nast, the brand and creative director Riccardo Tisci’s muse, supermodel Irina Shayk, also took the lead in interpreting another focal item – the Supreme Logo top with Burberry’s checkered design.
In addition, the collaborative series will also bring iconic Trench Coats, down Puffer jackets, Rugby Jerseys, hoodies, jeans, fisherman hats, 6-Panel Caps, and even highly collectible skateboards. As for the design, it naturally includes the classic Nova Check pattern, the knight emblem, Box Logo, and other features that everyone is familiar with. The devil is in the details, so if you pay close attention, you will notice that the flag waving in the hands of the Burberry knight now bears the word “Supreme.”
It is reported that the full series will officially debut this Thursday (March 10), with Supreme possibly following suit for release, and may independently release some exclusive collaborative items. It is worth noting that Burberry has not yet released its new season, and this early release of the collaborative series with Supreme may bring additional attention to the 2022 autumn show – the first fashion show held with live audience in two years.
LV, Yohji Yamamoto, Tiffany & Co., will Supreme once again create another iconic entry into high-end fashion? Everyone is eagerly waiting to see!
