Balenciaga Following the previous fun Tiger Year series, Balenciaga has recently launched a new Cities city series, creatively showcasing a range of clothing, accessories, and the latest highlight – Phantom sneakers.
The relationship between fashion and lifestyle, influenced by recent climate changes, has gradually sparked different reflections and been digested through various forms. What emerges is no longer the dazzling brilliance of clothing, but the emotions generated by every corner of life. In this Cities series, creative director Demna Gvasalia takes inspiration from the genuine feelings of local residents and tourists towards the city they are in, bringing in photographer François Prost to transport the scenes to the bustling underground subway, echoing and presenting the theme of the Cities series.
The items in the series are exclusively available at Balenciaga stores in the corresponding cities. At the same time, city series items and Phantom sneakers with “PARIS” printed on them are available online and offline at brand stores worldwide. The CITIES series, as the name suggests, features different cities in its design, with each item in the series featuring the names of twenty-two cities from various countries, including Hong Kong, Seoul, London, Tokyo, New York, Paris, Dubai, Rome, and more. The series includes tote bags, baseball caps, t-shirts, Furry slides, bomber jackets, and hoodies inspired by collegiate baseball uniforms.
