Building on the regular 2021 autumn collection, this series combines the unique designs of Kim Jones and pop art master Kenny Scharf.
To pay tribute to the Chinese zodiac sign of the Water Tiger welcoming the year 2022, this American artist has once again offered a creative interpretation of this symbol. In last year’s 2021 fall collection, Kenny Scharf referenced the Chinese zodiac signs to design a series of pattern prints for DIOR menswear, and the Water Tiger pattern featured in this exclusive Lunar New Year capsule collection is a continuation of that design.
This reinterpretation of the water tiger pattern by Kenny Scharf is transformed into prints, embroidery, and patch stickers in this series, appearing on shirts, knitwear, jeans, and down jackets. In addition to the red color symbolizing festive seasons, the collection also offers blue and white tones, presenting the sublime cultural colors of Chinese culture.
