Recently announced by KAWS and The North Face, the collaborative collection named The North Face XX KAWS officially launched globally today, and will be available for purchase in Hong Kong on January 13th.
The North Face collaborates with legendary artist KAWS for the first time, combining outdoor functionality with avant-garde art in The North Face XX KAWS joint series. Interpreting a variety of classic pieces from a unique trendy aesthetic perspective, it connects different creative ideas through everything it touches and bold challenges and passionate emotions towards the culture it is in.
This collaboration, KAWS breaks the traditional concepts of painting, sculpture, and design, creating a series of classic designs from The North Face with its iconic abstract eye-catching patterns and bold use of colors, such as the high-performance jackets from The North Face Freeride series with KAWS’ unique prints and reflective designs, injecting new vitality into the timeless 1996 Retro Nuptse Jacket. Moreover, KAWS’ latest creation will be extensively applied to different products, from down jackets, climbing suits, solid color tops, and hoodies, to classic bags like the Basecamp Duffel, thick knit beanies, climbing gloves, and waterproof face masks.
The purpose is to echo the recent arrival of “KAWS: HOLIDAY” at Changbai Mountain in China!
