Stepping into 2022 means that the Year of the Tiger in the lunar new year is approaching. Givenchy and Creative Director Matthew M. Williams have specially created a unique limited edition Tiger Year collection to celebrate the upcoming lunar new year, adding intricate embroidery to a variety of exclusive items and incorporating creative variations of metallic elements and brand classics, while also introducing designs for men’s and women’s collections.
In terms of men’s fashion, it brings double-sided striped jackets, hoodies, shorts, and tops in black, white, or red with large and small tiger patterns. In addition, there are 4G sports pants focusing on the Year of the Tiger, as well as two new sports shoes, including the newly injected Monumental sports shoes and the first sports shoes designed by Matthew M. Williams after taking office, GIV 1.
In terms of women’s clothing, there are styles designed around the theme of the Year of the Tiger, such as using pink, outlining the bodies and tails of two tigers into a heart-shaped pattern, embellished with red tiger embroidery, and applied to hoodies, shirts, off-shoulder sweaters, short jackets, mini denim skirts, as well as newly launched Marshmallow sandals and Shark Lock short boots.
In addition to clothing design, the limited edition accessories for the Lunar New Year also incorporate eye-catching tiger elements. For example, the stylish G-Lock chunky chain necklace with tiger stripes, earrings in black and pink tiger stripes, accessories with black and white stripes and gold chains, the innovative Cut-Out bag with 4G embroidery, and the new unisex G tote bag, all designed to complement a range of clothing styles and the overall Year of the Tiger theme.
