DIOR menswear officially becomes the official team custom brand of Paris Saint-Germain.

Led by Kim Jones, Dior menswear recently made a new move by announcing the design and customization of new pieces for the Paris Saint Germain (PSG) football team, also from Paris, for the next two seasons.

This time, Dior and Kim Jones will bring a design that combines casual and formal atmospheres to the team, from casual Harrington jackets, knit sweaters, and polo shirts, to formal wool coats, Dior Timeless captoe Derby leather shoes, as well as matching PSG logo jacquard ties and iconic Saddle Bag. From clothing to accessories, a unique series is created for the team. In this groundbreaking collaboration, details such as embroidery featuring the team name Paris Saint-Germain as a logo, “CD Icon” initials, and the iconic Dior Oblique pattern will be integrated, symbolizing the commemoration of the combination of both parties through the craftsmanship spirit of the Dior brand.

Since taking office in March 2018, Kim Jones has demonstrated exceptional foresight in the past few seasons of Dior menswear, expanding the iconic fashion craftsmanship of Dior into different contemporary cultural fields. This summer, he leads the brand in an attempt to enter the new field of sports. For Paris, PSG has shown ambitions that have shaken Europe in recent seasons, and this summer they welcome the groundbreaking transfer in the football world – bringing the contemporary football king Leo Messi to the Parc des Princes (PSG’s home stadium) – making PSG the intimidating holy land of the football world this season.

Earlier, Messi made a triumphant landing at PSG, and on the day he met with fans in person, he was the first to wear a custom Dior Tailoring suit, hinting at a possible collaboration between Dior and PSG. This first collaboration between the two saw several key PSG players modeling the team’s collection of uniforms for Dior menswear, including Neymar, Marquinhos, Verratti, Di Maria, and Paredes, among others. New signings like Sergio Ramos, Donnarumma, and Wijnaldum also made appearances in the shoot. However, global focus Messi did not appear in the footage. Does this mean that Dior menswear will soon have a special design or promotion tailored specifically for Messi? Take a first look at the special footage Dior shot for PSG.
