Must-visit for fans! Hello Kitty celebrates its 50th anniversary with the “HELLO KITTY · HAPPY 50 @ Harbour City” anniversary celebration from now until February 25th. There are 5 major experiential zones, in addition to adorable Hello Kitty installations, you can also get your hands on a variety of themed merchandise!

//Station 1: “Float Parade” themed installation//

The first stop of the Harbour City x Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary Celebration is located at the Open Piazza of Ocean Terminal. The “Float Parade” themed installation features a “Classic Apple-shaped Float” driven by Mimmy, the sister of Hello Kitty, a 5-meter-tall giant Hello Kitty Daruma doll on the float, and an “Apple Wish Garden” float with 8 small Daruma dolls. The back of the giant Daruma doll is a gachapon machine that can dispense a set of 8 adorable Hello Kitty Wish Daruma dolls!

The arch on the third float is inspired by Hello Kitty’s dream house, with Hello Kitty and her childhood friend Dear Daniel in front of a small flower garden, and a heart-shaped bridge where Hello Kitty love locks can be hung.

//Station 2: Hello Kitty Flag Waking Lion Garden//

There is also a check-in spot from a maritime perspective! The “Flag-waking Lion Garden” installation features a cute Hello Kitty stepping on a plum blossom pile, a large lion head, and four large drums behind it, creating a festive atmosphere for the Lunar New Year! Harbour City, together with the Jiang Family Golden Dragon Lion Dance Troupe and the brand “Useless Lion King,” promotes traditional Chinese lion dance culture. The small flower garden under Hello Kitty showcases the history of lion dance, including lion head production, lion dance training, and flag-waking music. While checking in, it’s worth paying attention to!

//Station 3: “Every flower tells a story” art exhibition//

The Harbour City Art Museum presents the “Every flower tells a story” art exhibition, where renowned artists and organizations showcase the diverse charm of Hello Kitty through various art forms. This includes the collaboration between William Chan Design and Bull & Stein, as well as a collection of 10 different colored “Color Your Future” collectible Hello Kitty art sculptures.

In addition, you can also appreciate the “Hello Kitty Floral Life” and wind 24K gold foil acrylic paintings by Japanese artist Naohiro Fukazawa. The entire series consists of 10 pieces meticulously crafted with exquisite craftsmanship, featuring a 24K gold foil background combined with traditional Japanese floral and bird motifs and modern design, allowing you to step into Hello Kitty’s colorful universe! Inside the venue, you can also find the jewelry collection and limited edition merchandise of Hello Kitty launched by Wondrous Group Limited. Fans should not miss out!

//Station 4: Hello Kitty Candy Cookie Pop-up Shop//

Hello Kitty collaborates with Chi Hua Bakery to launch a limited-time candy cookie pop-up store. They offer three types of “HELLO KITTY · HAPPY 50” candy cookie gift boxes, including a sturdy cardboard tote bag, a classic “coin purse” packaging, and a tin box packaging. Customers can choose to purchase a ready-made gift box or customize their own by selecting a gift box style and hand-picking a specified quantity of their favorite candy cookies. Perfect for New Year gifting!

Finally, of course, you have to visit the Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Store! The main highlights include a limited edition series of 100 boxes of Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary commemorative badges, 19 classic Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary plush ornaments, bow ornaments, and more. Inside the venue, there is also a photo area designed with “Friend the Future” where you can take pictures and check-in!
