The Lunar New Year installation at Pacific Place combines modern design with traditional garden architecture. If you look closely, you’ll notice elements representing the zodiac animal for 2024, such as the curves of a dragon and the texture of scales. These elements are complemented by other Lunar New Year symbols, bringing good luck and auspicious meanings. With a variety of bright and warm colors, as well as delicate lighting effects, the installation creates a sense of depth and thoughtfulness!
Forest By K Limited Floral artist Karen Leung has carefully brought different varieties of preserved flowers and silk flowers to the installation, as well as a floral art composed of over ten thousand bouquets, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere! Among them, the 3.5-meter-high peach blossom tree is full of spring vitality, blooming with gorgeous flowers, dreamy and beautiful, perfect for taking photos and “bringing good luck”!
Want to convey your thoughts and blessings to family and friends? You can also take New Year videos at the “Add Color to the New Year” selfie booth, add different New Year stickers, and create your own blessing videos to share on social media platforms! In addition to indoor locations in shopping malls, the Star Street neighborhood is also adorned with lanterns of different colors. Whether you come here during the day or at night, you can take unique and beautiful photos!
In addition to multiple Lunar New Year installations, the “Colorful Lunar New Year” red packets at Pacific Place are also creatively designed! The design uses abstract lines and brushstrokes to depict the free and graceful posture of a flying dragon. When the colorful red packets are arranged side by side, a beautiful dragon will come to life, complementing the design details of the landscape lines and the dragon scales. Each red packet is paired with a golden or peach pink envelope, allowing for mix and match. With the addition of colorful red envelopes, they can be used for storage during the New Year, both fashionable and convenient!
