Enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival while checking in! From now until mid-October, four “seaside shared spaces” in Kennedy Town, Wan Chai, North Point, and Causeway Bay have added Mid-Autumn Festival-themed installations!
In Kennedy Town, traditional rabbit lanterns, jellyfish lanterns, and peach blossom lanterns are hung in different locations along the waterfront promenade, creating a vibrant and eye-catching lantern display! In Causeway Bay, the “Vibrant Typhoon Shelter Theme Zone,” and in North Point, the “East Coast Park Theme Zone,” are designed with the concepts of “Moon Appreciation,” “Starry Sky,” and “Chasing the Moon,” to create a traditional atmosphere for the Mid-Autumn Festival.

In the “Vibrant Typhoon Shelter Theme Area” in Causeway Bay, a 1.5-meter-tall glowing moon installation is added in front of the “Fire Dragon” installation. The other end of the “Fire Dragon” installation is decorated with lunar phase lighting, and there are also hundreds of meters of light strings along the venue.
As for the “East Coast Park Theme Area” in North Point, there is a large moon that is nearly 8 meters high. At the entrance near Hing Fat Street, there is an interactive projection device that projects a twinkling starry sky effect, which is romantic and IG-able!
4 “Seaside Shared Spaces” are open 24 hours, with the lights on from 6 pm to 11 pm. During the Mid-Autumn Festival (September 29th) to National Day (October 1st), the lights will be extended until midnight.
