The highly anticipated “Frozen” themed park, which is the most awaited by Frozen fans, will open on November 20th at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort! The park will faithfully recreate scenes from the movie “Frozen”. Now, let’s take a look at the photo spots within the “Arendelle Kingdom”.
Hong Kong Disneyland’s “Frozen” themed area is inspired by Norway in terms of its environment and architectural design, creating a whole new tourist destination. For example, the asymmetrical architecture of Arendelle in the park, the 19th-century dragon-style town of Arendelle, and even the costumes and props incorporate the popular painted style of the 18th to 19th centuries in Norway.
It is worth mentioning that the world of Frozen incorporates the natural landscape of Lantau Island and adopts the traditional East Asian technique of “borrowed scenery” to integrate natural scenery into the garden design. The ocean elements also bring enchanting natural landscapes to the park.
Once you step into the “Frozen” area, you will see the “Come Celebrate Summer Snow Day!” celebration banners and hear the background music from the “Frozen” theme, which is a re-adaptation of the familiar and captivating music from the “Frozen” film series by the award-winning composer Andrew Cottee, creating the atmosphere of the movie world!

Several classic scenes from the movie “Frozen” can be found in the new park, such as the “Friendship Fountain” dedicated to the bond between Anna and Elsa, the “North Mountain” which is the highest point in Arendelle, the “Ice Palace” where Elsa first experiences her ice and snow magic, the “Arendelle Castle” which is the royal residence of Arendelle, the “Clock Tower” where Anna dances with Prince Hans, the “King’s Bridge” named after Anna and Elsa’s father, and the “Arendelle Port” where Anna boards a small fishing boat when she meets Prince Hans. The park truly captures the essence of the movie and allows visitors to immerse themselves in the kingdom of Arendelle!
In addition to checking in, there is also a must-play “Snow Ridge Sled”. It zooms around the mountains and forests, crosses over the water, and then goes in and out of tunnels. Along the way, you can see the unique Adelson Forest waterfall, where the snow water rushes from between the rocks to the gorge below. It is both thrilling and offers a beautiful view!
There are also Frozen-themed delicacies available at the restaurants and waterfront docks in Arendelle Port, where you can taste local dishes with traditional Nordic cuisine characteristics. You can also find delicious food at the Forest Food Station or enjoy exquisite desserts at the Northern Lights Candy House. Additionally, you can purchase themed souvenirs at Tick Tock Boutique and the Nomadic Stall. The hotels in the resort area will also have Frozen-themed room decorations for everyone to take photos!
