The Tsuen Wan South Textile Factory brings a 15-foot tall giant peach blossom tree this Lunar New Year! The tree is adorned with 80 “Lucky Hundred Fabric Cookies” made from recycled fabric, each cookie carrying a blessing note, bringing abundant blessings!
The peach blossom trees are surrounded by a track filled with three lines of congratulatory words, allowing everyone to have a prosperous year along the track, and to enjoy the “rabbit” of good luck. Combined with the “divine rabbit and spiritual turtle” that breaks the traditional story of “The Tortoise and the Hare,” it symbolizes that everyone can live freely on the track of life in the new year.
In addition, the Lion Dance performance will be held at the South Fung Textile Factory on the seventh day of the Lunar New Year (January 28th) at 3:00 pm. In addition to the eye-dotting ceremony, there will also be a traditional Plum Blossom Pile performance, creating a festive atmosphere!
