The most environmentally friendly holiday decoration! Every year, the Wan Chai Star Street neighborhood has a photo spot for Christmas. This year, in collaboration with AaaM Architecture Design Studio, they have transformed the plastic bottles collected from the community into sparkling snow diamonds and a shimmering spiral Christmas tree!
If you want to check-in, you can start by entering the Star Street neighborhood from Queen’s Road East. Outside Taikoo Place Phase 3, there are strings of champagne gold and pearl white woven snow diamonds, adorned with sparkling little lights! The spiral Christmas tree stands in the middle of the platform, designed to resemble a crystal chandelier at a ball, with icicle-like decorations, radiating a pure white light, echoing a white Christmas!
In addition to the eye-catching and IG-able giant snowball outside Taikoo Shing Phase 3, the outer perimeter is made up of multiple flat snowballs, each filled with snowflakes of different sizes. Apart from taking photos, you can also step inside the snowball and experience the beautiful and romantic atmosphere surrounded by “snowflakes”!
