Hong Kong Disneyland’s “10K Weekend” running event returns after a three-year hiatus! This year’s event will take place on March 18-19, 2023, with the theme of “A Wonderful Century.” The running route will cover seven major theme parks and even pass through the arch of the Wonderful Dream Castle!
Spider-Man, Ant-Man, Wasp, and other superheroes, as well as Disney cartoon characters like Mickey, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Duffy, LinaBell, will appear in themed costumes for “Marvel Superhero 10K Run,” “Pixar Friends 5K Run,” “Duffy and Friends 3K Run,” and “Mickey and Friends Kids Run” to cheer on the runners with the theme of “A Wonderful Hundred Years.”
As for this year’s “participant kit,” it includes a series of event-themed T-shirts, bibs, bib clips, and themed masks designed in collaboration with the amusement park and the official designated clothing and footwear sponsor SKECHERS. Participants who complete the event will receive a medal with a primary color theme of shiny platinum white.
If you want to create a special competition look, you can now pre-order Disney-themed clothing at the park’s online store. You can also pre-book the “Chill‧Stay‧Run” 10K Weekend accommodation package, pick up the race pack at the designated point through the express lane, and stay at the Disney Explorers Lodge the night before the race. Before the event, you can enjoy the “Runner’s Morning Light Meal,” and after the race, you can return to the hotel for a 10K runner’s buffet lunch.
