This Mid-Autumn Festival, there are many unique photo spots, and recently, the Central Street Market has teamed up with Hang Heung Bakery to bring “Hang Heung x Central Street Market: The City of Moon,” featuring a series of eye-catching and festive Mid-Autumn decorations!
The most eye-catching photo spot must be the “Lantern Wishing Tree” made up of 200 lanterns, about 5 meters high! The colorful lanterns with artistic patterns as elements create a dazzling Wishing Tree. There are also 6 different sizes and shapes of “Light and Shadow Moon Rabbits” in the venue, emitting a gentle light, and next to one of the jade rabbits, there is a “Hengxiang Mooncake Chair” decoration.
“Hang Heung Mooncake Mold” and local illustrators integrate Yuen Long street scenes to create the “Hang Heung Yuanju Market House” and three-dimensional paintings. Inside the “Hang Heung Yuanju Market House,” there is also a charity exhibition, featuring various handmade Mid-Autumn Festival crafts created by intellectually disabled students. In addition, there are miniature handicrafts and the nostalgic “Little City Story Building Blocks Exhibition Area,” as well as the “Central Food Street” on the second floor and the Hong Kong-style photo wall inside the venue. If you want to DIY Mid-Autumn Festival decorations, you can also participate in weekend workshops to create Mid-Autumn pastels, lightweight clay, hand-painted lanterns, and embellish the festival.
In addition, Central Market has partnered with Nikon. The food street and lantern decorations designed by Wisdom students at Central Market will be filmed. The related videos will be uploaded to Central Market’s social media platforms Facebook and Instagram. People visiting Central Market can capture and record lanterns and moments of the Mid-Autumn Festival, upload them to social platforms before September 17, and tag #CentralMarketHK #NikonHongKong #TheCityOfMoon in public posts or stories.
