Since the outbreak of the epidemic, every time “Fashion Month” arrives, it always makes people nostalgic for the days when they “pilgrimage” and absorb “fashion nutrients” in various parts of Europe during Fashion Week. At this stage, we can only gather information first, and visit after the epidemic is over. On Valentine’s Day, Gucci opened Giardino 25 in Piazza della Signoria in Florence, combining a coffee shop and a cocktail bar in one, bringing another “pilgrimage spot” for fashion enthusiasts!
The name of the restaurant “Gucci Giardino 25” not only echoes Gucci Garden (“Giardino” means garden in Italian), but the number 25 is also a symbol that Creative Director Alessandro Michele personally favors, carrying a unique significance.
From the fashion designs of Alessandro Michele, you can always feel a strong retro flavor. Gucci Giardino 25 also inherits his preferred style, with the entire space surrounded by columns adorned with carved capitals, walls covered with custom wood inlays; paired with peacock blue leather sofas and chairs, as well as marble bar tops and dining tables, echoing the decorative style of the late 18th century.
As for dining, the restaurant offers an all-day menu, including international breakfast items that blend local traditional pastries, as well as Japanese and Mexican cuisine; for lunch and dinner, there are various light snacks available, along with an afternoon tea menu. The various specialty coffees in the shop pay tribute to coffee culture, where guests can enjoy an Italian espresso at the bar or choose to relax in the casual dining area.
In addition, the brand has also invited the experienced female mixologist Martina Bonci to serve as the bar manager. The series of cocktails she concocts are well-rounded in flavor and colorful. Among them, the “1921” with a hint of earthiness pays tribute to the year Gucci was born.
