After Paris and Tokyo, BVLGARI will open a new hotel in Rome!

BVLGARI hotels, always the top choice for high-quality accommodation, with hotels in Milan, London, Bali, Shanghai, etc., are definitely in high demand during peak travel seasons! Recently, the brand has expanded its hotel business, planting flags in Paris, Tokyo, Moscow, and now has announced that it will return to its “hometown” of Rome, Italy, to open a brand new hotel!

The BVLGARI Hotel in Rome has recently signed an agreement and is expected to start construction, with plans to open in 2022. This brand new hotel is located in the heart of Rome, at the center of Augusto Imperatore Square, just a street away from the famous landmarks Via del Corso and Via del Babuino, boasting an excellent geographical location. The building where the hotel is located was built by architect Vittorio Ballio Morpurgo between 1936 and 1938, with details such as marble, terracotta bricks, frescoes, bronze fountains, and mosaic decorations that are full of traditional Roman colors.

The hotel will be designed and restored by the Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, and is expected to offer over 100 different room types. The brand has also invited Michelin-starred chef Niko Romito to plan the dining options in the hotel, providing guests with a higher quality accommodation experience.

After traveling around the world, BVLGARI Hotels and Resorts finally return to the brand’s birthplace, Rome, and plant their flag in the heart of the city, owning their own “temple”. It is believed that the brand will highly value this project and create a flagship luxury hotel with strong Roman and brand characteristics!
