During the long days of the epidemic, eating three meals at home has become the new normal. In this somewhat helpless situation, the only way is to choose a set of exquisite tableware to feel the beauty of daily life in the details. Hermès recently launched the new Soleil d’Hermès series, inspired by the sun, bringing 24 pieces of tableware mainly in warm yellow.
The series is led by Benoit Pierre Emery, the creative director of the Hermès tableware series, combining the creations of illustrator Arielle de Brichambaut with the skilled craftsmanship of the brand’s master craftsmen. Deep yellow is dyed on pure white bone china, with delicate black lines added to outline the subtle nuances between light and shadow, while depicting an abstract palm leaf pattern; cups, plates, teapots, and trays of different shapes present subtle interwoven color changes, exuding a hint of warm sunlight.
