Inspired by healthy and beautiful skin, as well as the new product – Phyto Nature Oxygen Cream, a variety of healthy ingredients are used to create exquisite savory and sweet treats. Paired with refreshing and delicious summer drinks, it creates a leisurely and carefree afternoon.
The chef team uses the product characteristics as the blueprint for creation, carefully selecting a range of healthy ingredients, such as vitamin-rich blackcurrants and berries, high-fiber purple sweet potatoes, and antioxidant-rich beets, allowing everyone to taste a variety of exquisitely crafted savory and sweet treats while experiencing the natural and healthy flavors.
Afternoon tea is carefully paired with a variety of delicately crafted sweet and savory pastries. The head chef highly recommends the blackcurrant macaron, which has a crispy outer shell and a soft and smooth filling. It is bursting with the fragrant aroma of blackcurrant berries and has a rich texture. Other exquisite desserts include purple sweet potato cream puffs, lemon madeleine cake with purple sweet potato chocolate, mixed berry mousse cups, mixed berry smoothies, and grape pancakes with whipped cream and strawberry jam. Each one has its own unique characteristics.
In terms of savory snacks, the head chef has prepared a total of 6 signature dim sum dishes, including chicken cream puffs, crispy rice cakes with fresh shrimp and mango, black pork ham puff pastry, beetroot risotto balls with lime and buffalo cheese, beetroot salmon with blueberry cream cheese toast, and the chef’s special recommendation, crispy fried purple sweet potato spring rolls!

TUMI x The Upper House Salisterra Summer Travel Themed Afternoon Tea
From now until September 30th, the luxurious hotel Yijv is launching an afternoon tea inspired by TUMI, sharing the joy of travel with colorful pastries, while showcasing the streamlined beauty of TUMI’s first aluminum luggage series, 19 Degree.
The collaboration afternoon tea is inspired by TUMI luggage, and is created by Executive Chef Cary Docherty and Pastry Chef Victor Chan, presenting vibrant summer colors. Exquisite savory items include lobster with pickled lemon and caviar, tomato jelly tart, and chicken and black truffle sandwich.
In terms of desserts, the caramel mousse with white brandy gelée presents a striking color on the 19 Degree aluminum alloy casing. There are also the unforgettable white peach vanilla panna cotta, the layered strawberry waffle tart, and the mango coconut tart. Three refreshing iced teas are made with seasonal fruits, including peach apple jasmine tea, strawberry mint Earl Grey tea, and mango passion fruit chamomile, to drive away the hot summer air.
