In the historic building at 7 Mau Lo Street, Maison Meiji offers a coffee shop, a Western and Japanese cuisine restaurant, an izakaya, and a bar. Recently, the restaurant has introduced a new menu with a variety of new dishes.
In addition to the popular choice of omurice, there are more lunch sets that embody both Chinese and Western characteristics, such as “Tangyuan Fried Chicken Omurice” ($198), “Gillette Shrimp Omurice” ($218), and “Cod Fish Teriyaki with Vegetable Pancake” ($268).
If you want something more traditional yet still love sashimi, we recommend the “Five-color Sashimi Donburi” ($238), which includes botan shrimp, oil sardine, akami, buri, and scallops. All of them are very fresh and flavorful. The lunch set also comes with salad and soup, and the portion is generous.
The new menu also includes a variety of desserts with both local and Western flavors, such as buffet, banana boat, and caramel pudding buffet. Each one is perfect for taking photos while enjoying the restaurant’s unique decor and style.
