Sham Shui Po themed restaurant with exotic decorations, super Instagrammable Turkish carpet seats!

by

I believe everyone has friends who have already returned from flying, and those who have no plans but want to experience the feeling of traveling can come to this Lonely Paisley in Cheung Sha Wan! The decoration is full of exotic colors, it is a restaurant themed around travel. The most eye-catching thing when you enter is of course several tables covered with Turkish carpets, small wooden tables full of ethnic colors, letting you sit on the floor, and the hand-painted patterns on the walls, you can tell at a glance that it is a perfect photo spot!

At first glance, you might think it’s Turkish food? Not entirely, there are also some Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Mexican elements, so the menu is themed around international cuisine. Recommended is the Mexican Triple Cheese Chicken Pie/$88, served with homemade Sichuan spicy sauce. The taste is not really spicy, besides the cheese and chicken in the pie, there are also some sweet peppers and onions, adding a nice crunch.

If you like seafood, you can order a Thai-style coconut blue mussel for $138. The portion of mussels is quite generous, cooked in a sauce made of coconut milk, lemongrass, basil, etc., the taste is sweet and fragrant, goes well with mussels.

In terms of beverages, in addition to coffee and tea, the restaurant also offers non-alcoholic cocktails. This glass of Remember Me/$68, made with pineapple and Mexican chili, has a slightly spicy taste, which is quite satisfying.

Sitting with friends on the carpet, eating and drinking, chatting and planning, plus an environment that allows everyone to take crazy photos, you can have a very relaxing afternoon. Think of it as a little preview before traveling again!
