Recently, there have been many Halloween events and trendy food spots, and the Nordic-style cafe Hjem in Sheung Wan has also changed its three-tier afternoon tea to a Halloween theme, offering the “Ghost Afternoon Tea Set” (HK$488 for two people)!
Afternoon tea is available all day on designated days, with desserts in quirky shapes such as the “cinnamon nutmeg roll” transformed into a ghost and the “buckwheat chocolate cookie” in a monster shape.
In addition, there are special drinks full of autumn vibes, such as the “Pumpkin Spice Latte” (HK$45), made with homemade spice syrup, espresso, whole milk, vanilla cream, pumpkin spice, creating a sweet and warm flavor. The handcrafted cocktail “Blinding Lights” (HK$78) is made with cranberry syrup, lemon, Finlandia cranberry liqueur, bitter orange as the base, topped with a cherry soda, and a jelly in the shape of an eyeball, echoing the Halloween theme, also available in a non-alcoholic version.
