Award-winning Hong Kong wool wine brand “Under the White Orchid Tree” has just launched a new product, “Libre Tipsy Cola,” a cocktail that can be carried with you and enjoyed on the go!
“The Libre Tipsy Cola” (HK$38/can, $448/12 cans) is inspired by the classic cocktail Cuba Libre. After a year of research and development, it has a refreshing bubbly taste, a slightly sweet flavor with light spicy undertones, and a lingering aroma of chocolate coffee. It really does have the taste and feeling of cola. Each can contains 5% alcohol, is sugar-free, and less than 90 calories, making it convenient to bring to parties or outdoor gatherings to share with friends!
In addition to this new product, if you are interested in learning more about sake or wine, you can participate in the wine tasting events held regularly at the Danqiu Distillery under the white orchid tree in South Fengsha Factory (starting from HK$128). The 45-minute class will explain the origin and production of sake, the types and styles of sake, and blind taste three different spirits, and finally teach how to mix and enjoy Gin & Tonic. There are also cocktail workshops, professional mixology certificate courses, and more.
In addition to workshops, Danqiu Distillery has recently started serving cocktails. There is a cocktail menu available all day on Fridays and after 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Participate in workshops or enjoy a tasting in the simple and quiet space, it’s especially comfortable and relaxing!
