Sweet Memories by JV’S Kitchen, a delicate cake shop in Kwun Tong, opened its first store in the Hong Kong Island area, located inside Eslite Spectrum in Cityplaza. The pop-up store offers the most popular baked matcha soy milk cake in individual packaging, as well as cupped silky egg pudding with shredded mochi.
The newly launched Cupcake series is a must-try, with a total of seven flavors: matcha, taro, hojicha, lemon, dark chocolate, vanilla raspberry, and Earl Grey. When you cut open the matcha flavor, there is a flowing lava sauce, and the filling also contains chewy mochi. Another flavor, vanilla raspberry, is elegant in pink, with a soft and smooth cheese layer and a slightly tipsy raspberry sauce inside, making it not too heavy even after finishing the whole thing.
There are healthy options beyond cakes and desserts. A series of dried fruits includes more than ten varieties, such as mixed berries, pineapple, mango, dragon fruit, fig, peach, whole strawberries, and golden pillow, all crispy and naturally sweet.
In addition, bottled flower tea, with a round body and visible original roses or chrysanthemums inside, has a light, sweet, and fragrant tea flavor. Many customers like to use it as a gift for sprinkling water.
