After passing through customs, many people will definitely embark on a “revenge-style” trip! For “Korean fans,” Seoul is the top choice, where they can go crazy shopping and taste delicious food. One of the must-visit spots is definitely Garosu-gil, which has a different style from the original Seoul, with a collection of international restaurants, bar streets, vinyl culture museums, etc., deeply loved by many trendsetters.
Recently, Gucci opened the fourth Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura on the top floor of the Gucci Goak flagship store in Itaewon, offering a menu that blends Italian and Korean culinary cultures.
The restaurant menu is designed by international renowned chefs Massimo Bottura, executive chef Karime Lopez from Gucci Osteria in Florence, executive chef Hyungkyu Jun from Seoul, and head chef Davide Cardellini.
The single-item menu includes Gucci Osteria’s signature dishes, such as the “Emilia Burger” served in a pink box and the tantalizing “Tortellini with Parmigiano Reggiano Cream”; in addition, there are exclusive dishes only available in Seoul, such as “Seoul Garden” and “Summer in Adriatic”. The restaurant also offers a variety of beverages, a wine list of nearly 200 kinds, and cocktails.
The interior style of Gucci Osteria Seoul is inspired by the main store in Florence, combining elements of the Italian Renaissance period and the brand’s aesthetics. The entrance features vibrant green walls, wooden paneling, and Georgian-style terrace doors, creating a winter garden atmosphere.
The main space of the restaurant is adorned with a luxurious long bench and peacock green velvet chairs paired with ebony dining tables, creating a harmonious contrast with the bright views on the terrace.
The Seoul store also has a private dining room called “Room of Mirrors”, which can accommodate up to 8 guests and is decorated with exquisite antique wall mirrors, ebony wall panels, and Gucci Décor’s radura wallpaper, providing customers with a private and unique dining experience.
