Many girls who are accustomed to online shopping often visit the fashion shopping website NET-A-PORTER to check out the latest trendy items or to catch limited-time offers. Especially since NET-A-PORTER launched the Net Sustain online platform in 2019, it has become easier to get a variety of environmentally friendly fashion and beauty products! Recently, the brand has extended the concept of sustainability to dining as well, partnering with the local boutique coffee shop Between to exclusively launch the “Net Goes Green” sustainable light food gift box!
Each product launched on Net Sustain must meet one of nine criteria, such as reducing waste, responsible production processes, considering human, animal, and environmental welfare, local manufacturing, vegan, etc. The “Net Goes Green” light meal gift box jointly launched by NET-A-PORTER and Between also echoes the concept of environmental protection, bringing food made from locally grown, vegan ingredients.
The “Net Goes Green” light meal gift box includes main courses, desserts, and drinks. The main course, a Gillette plant-based sandwich, incorporates locally grown sweet potatoes and kale, paired with Japanese shichimi togarashi mayonnaise and charcoal bread. The vegetarian dessert tart is made with local tofu mixed with cream cheese, topped with white chocolate frosting for decoration.
As for beverages, you can choose between two signature drinks at Between, including the rich and smooth sesame coconut milk, and the direct trade coffee with ginger flower, lemon, and oolong tea flavors.
“The Net Goes Green” light food gift box will be exclusively available in limited quantities at Between’s flagship store and online platform from August 27 to September 26. Foodies who want to go green may want to give it a try.
