Staycation has become the new normal, and Hong Kong’s unique hotels are increasing in number. However, traditional six-star hotels still remain a popular choice for many, with their superior decoration, facilities, and amenities. Located in the Hong Kong Island area with stunning views of Victoria Harbour, the Four Seasons Hotel recently underwent a renovation project. The first phase of the renovation has been completed, bringing a fresh new look to both the lobby and rooms. The elegant design updates add an artistic touch, making the hotel once again a popular recommendation for Staycations.
The Four Seasons Hotel has partnered with the renowned design company Remedios Studio to incorporate a blend of new and old as the design concept. Traditional Chinese art elements, such as traditional Chinese landscape paintings and patterns, are added to the newly designed guest rooms and suites. In addition to classical design details, the rooms feature the latest home technology, such as advanced lighting control systems, to create an elegant space that seamlessly blends the old with the new.
In addition to the rooms, the hotel lobby has also been renovated, with the opening of the ARGO bar and the Gallery lobby cafe. The ARGO bar is a major highlight of this renovation, designed by AB Concept with a greenhouse theme, using plenty of mirrors to create a warm and sunny atmosphere.
The hanging emerald green potted plants on the ceiling, as well as the insect specimen decorations on the wall, exude a feeling of nature. The classical and elegant pressed flower wallpaper, velvet sofa, emit the magnificent and noble atmosphere of a European aristocratic mansion, yet maintaining a relaxing and carefree style.
Here, you can find a variety of innovative cocktails to enjoy while facing the Victoria Harbour view, making it a comfortable experience day or night.
The lobby café Gallery creates a cozy atmosphere like a living room at home, offering local light snacks, a variety of specialty coffees and teas. The highlight is the afternoon tea set, inspired by the dishes of the Michelin-starred hotel restaurant, a series of exquisite Chinese and Western pastries, paired with coffee from the famous Tokyo boutique coffee brand Omotesando Koffee and tea brewed by tea masters from Yu Tea House, making the afternoon tea experience unique.
The Four Seasons Hotel is now offering a “Gourmet Indulgence” Staycation accommodation offer. Two guests can enjoy daily breakfast, and guests staying in a suite can enjoy a dining credit of HK$1,500 per night, which can be used at The Lounge, Gallery, or for in-room dining services (the credit is also applicable to Lung King Heen dinner before July 31, 2022). The renovated Four Seasons Hotel is even more attractive, so interested friends may want to learn more details here.
