Nan Fung Textile Factory “Coca-Cola” Check-in Exhibition! Specialty Mini Mart, Retired Soda Tray Creates Exhibits

Many Coca-Cola fans collect special edition Coke bottles, but have you ever noticed the soda trays used to hold glass bottles? With the introduction of the new glass bottle packaging for Coca-Cola, the old 24-bottle soda trays that have been used for years are now retired. Over a hundred retired soda trays have recently been transformed into exhibits, turning the atrium of the Nam Fong Textile Factory into a red exhibition hall!

Coca-Cola recently held the “Bottle Journey” exhibition at the Nan Fung Textile Factory in Taikoo, Hong Kong, where visitors can explore the new glass bottle production line and learn about the evolution of Coca-Cola glass bottles.

The exhibition also features works designed by students from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design, with the theme of “diversity and inclusion,” using recycled post-consumer HDPE and 3D printing materials from retired soda trays, full of creativity, while also promoting environmental conservation concepts.

In addition, there is also a classic convenience store where you can purchase bottled “Coca-Cola” drinks and limited edition “Coca-Cola” soda tray storage baskets. It is worth mentioning one of the winning works of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s “Diverse Inclusion” sustainable product design competition, the “Clothing Identification Clip” designed specifically for visually impaired individuals to identify clothing, which has been mass-produced as the “Red Identification Clip” for limited release, with all proceeds donated to the Hong Kong Blind Union.
