“MART IN HONG KONG” started in Central Waterfront in 2017, extended to a Phygital “Online + Offline” mode last year, and this year, with 20 brands, leads everyone to be the first to land in the metaverse virtual world!
MART IN METAVERSE is divided into three main themed exhibition areas: “Hong Kong Cultural Hall”, “Blooming Wealth Hall”, and “NFT Art Exhibition Hall”, bringing visitors a variety of limited edition Chinese New Year products and NFT art exhibitions worth millions, exploring a never-before-seen Lunar New Year event!
The main exhibition area of the event, “Hong Kong Cultural Hall,” takes the local characteristic architecture of “tong lau” as its main theme, creating a traditional yet ultra-modern exhibition building. There will be 8 brands showcasing traditional and innovative Chinese New Year gifts. The rooftop of the “Hong Kong Cultural Hall” will host stage performances from time to time, and the event will also feature the first-ever Hip Hop music awards in Hong Kong – Whats Good Music Awards, bringing performances by over ten local DJs and singers. The first giant peach blossom tree in the metaverse is located in the center of the “Blooming Fortune Pavilion”, allowing everyone to “have great luck” in the new year. Under the peach blossom tree, there are also 8 other creative brands, each showcasing limited edition trendy products.
The “NFT Art Exhibition Hall” invited many local and international NFT collectors and brands to showcase NFTs, including: Monkey Kingdom, Hong Kong God of Wealth NFT brand, Hong Kong trendy toy brand ZCWO, and French designer Juce Gace known for toy-themed designs, exhibiting NFTs worth a total of over a million dollars.
MART IN METAVERSE will be held from January 28th to February 5th this year for a total of 9 days on the virtual platform Cryptovoxels. Everyone can use their virtual identity to enter unlimited virtual space, enjoy an immersive interactive experience, and have a different Lunar New Year experience!
