From the brand’s first series teaser, you can see models wearing black sheer tops paired with pleated leather skirts, embodying both sexiness and toughness.
It seems that Creative Director Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski is going to bring us a completely new Hermès women’s collection for Fall/Winter 2022.
As expected, a series of clothing that combines rigidity and softness appeared on the catwalk. At the beginning, there was a neat black striped leather paired with a mini skirt, using a combination of lambskin and silk knit fabric to highlight the brand’s craftsmanship core. Nadège Vanhée-Cybulski applied a large number of rectangular elements to leather, knitwear, and different items such as over-the-knee socks, creating various geometric combinations.
In addition to the brand’s classic equestrian elements, this season features subtly sheer ribbed knit sweaters and comfortable tailored shorts; soft leather paired with romantically delicate ruffled blouses, bringing a highly textured wardrobe to women. The fitted mini skirts and shorts are the main focus of this autumn/winter season, paired with snug over-the-knee socks and flat knee-high boots, showing that Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski truly understands how to balance the proportions of a woman’s legs, cleverly extending and elongating the silhouette, allowing women to walk like ballerinas with grace.
The whole show exudes an elegant and delicate style, never giving a feeling of being too exposed, while also balancing the right amount of sexiness and charm.
