#Paris Fashion Week: Loewe’s 2022 Fall/Winter collection plays with “balloon busts” and four-wheeled miniskirts, manipulating clothing silhouettes with surreal techniques.

Since Jonathan Anderson took over as the creative director of Loewe, the brand’s fashion shows have never had a dull moment. In the Fall/Winter 2022 season, he once again challenges people’s imagination of fashion by using strong fabric textures, combining the brand’s signature craftsmanship to create a series of sensory-stimulating clothing.

On the sky bridge, you can see “balloon chest circumference”, lip-shaped chest armor, and even a jumpsuit with hidden high heels, playing with visual illusions, the whole fashion show is like a visual game.

The fashion show opens with seemingly soft and flowing leather, as models appear in burgundy and light pink leather skirts, with flowing hemlines and asymmetrical sleeves, deliberately simulating swaying lines, creating an unreal sense of time and space standing still in the present moment.

In the spring/summer 2022 season, Jonathan Anderson uses everyday items such as eggs, soap, and nail polish as the heels of high heels, creating a breathless, oppressive feeling; this season, he incorporates surrealism inspired by balloons into his designs, with crushed balloons becoming bras or heels of high heels, creating a sense of tension.

In addition, many items can be seen hidden in the skirt on the catwalk, such as red high heels, four-wheeled cars, and even turning fiery red lips into a bra paired with drooping jumpsuit skirts, tight long skirts with embedded high heels, and even shaping the skirt hem into a four-wheeled vehicle, a series of three-dimensional clothing with sculptural lines, injecting fun into the clothes.
