Gucci plans to hold 2 major shows in the first half of this year! In addition to Milan Fashion Week in February, Gucci announced today that there will be another co-ed show in May, with the time and location yet to be announced. What exactly does creative director Alessandro Michele have up his sleeve? We can only wait and see.
Gucci’s last Milan Fashion Show dates back to February 2020 when they presented the Fall 2020 women’s collection. Due to the pandemic, Alessandro decided to break away from the traditional fashion week release schedule, abandoning the concepts of “Spring/Summer” and “Fall/Winter” seasonal collections, and instead creating a collection that is more in tune with the current moment through an online format.
After a hiatus of 2 years, with physical shows gradually returning, Gucci recently officially announced its return to the traditional fashion week schedule, and will hold a new fashion show at its Milan headquarters in February. However, Alessandro’s plans do not stop there, as the brand announced that another co-ed show will follow in May, making the schedule very tight. Let’s wait and see what surprises Gucci will bring us after returning to fashion week!
