This is the first physical fashion show since Creative Director Gabriela Hearst took over Chloé, specially located on the Pont des Arts on the Seine River in Paris, showcasing a new season of bohemian, romantic and unrestrained clothing.
“Everything for love.” Gabriela Hearst described the Spring/Summer 2022 collection in this way. From the collection, it can be seen that she blends everything she loves and is passionate about together, not only showcasing the brand’s own romanticism through clothing, but also injecting South American folk style, and expressing her original intentions for environmental protection and traditional craftsmanship.
The entire series is composed of cream white, nude, beige, as well as different shades of yellow and color blocks. The clothes feature loose, draped silhouettes, exuding a stylish yet sexy vibe, skillfully outlining the female figure; the cut of the vest top is just right, making the neck appear longer and the collarbone more prominent.
One of the white low-waist pants suits is embellished with fringe at the exposed waist, fresh and not cliché; Gabriela Hearst uses fringe, ribbons, and weaving elements throughout the series to create a style that combines hippie, bohemian charm, and romantic rebellion.
In addition, this season, the “Chloé Craft” series is specially launched, not only insisting on using fabrics that respect the animal environment but also replacing machines with exquisite craftsmanship of independent craftsmen. Gabriela Hearst deliberately uses a large number of items and clothing in the series that can only be made through traditional craftsmanship, such as hand-rolled edges, or techniques like hooking, knitting, cutting, allowing people to feel the uniqueness brought by craftsmanship.
