Established in 2009, Jacquemus has gained popularity for creating oversized straw hats and super mini handbags. Designer Simon Porte Jacquemus always breaks the rules in his creations, focusing more on design aesthetics rather than practicality.
The 2021 autumn collection, themed “LA MONTAGNE,” draws inspiration from natural mountain scenery, blending avant-garde modernist thinking to create a visually stunning cardigan; resembling a hanging cloth, with only one button at the chest, even supported by a single thread, showcasing a large section of bare waist, modeled by the image of the hot Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid, the level of sexiness is irresistible.
The series also shows different designs derived from this cardigan, including asymmetrical ones, knitted ones, and those paired with a bra top… Simon Porte Jacquemus seems to want to liberate women’s bodies through clothing.
As for the color scheme, a large amount of fluorescent and bright colors are used, contrasting with the blue and green dance floor background, creating a vivid contrast and a sense of optimism and liveliness.
