Louis Vuitton The 2022 early spring release conference was held yesterday at Axe Majeur in Cergy-Pontoise, a suburb of Paris, created by humanist artist Dani Karavan. Brand creative director Nicolas Ghesquière turned the art-filled architecture on-site into the stage for the conference, allowing architectural aesthetics and natural environment to be the best backdrop for the Resort 2022 collection.
Models dressed in the latest designs slowly walk out from the red and white geometrically lined long axis bridge, then walk on the mirror-like space resembling the “mirror of the sky.” The combination of fashion, architecture, and nature is beautiful yet slightly futuristic, coupled with the music of Arcade Fire, creating an unreal utopian scene.
Continuing Nicolas Ghesquière’s expertise in science fiction style, 45 designs are full of futuristic vibes. At the beginning of the presentation, several sets of highly saturated and colorful three-dimensional cutting designs were presented, followed by a series of jumpsuits with space planet patterns, directly presenting cosmic illusions on the clothing.
In addition to stimulating your eyes with intense colors and sci-fi patterns, Nicolas Ghesquière also uses a mix of different geometric patterns and futuristic silver tones, highlighting the conflict of different materials and lines, showcasing the modern woman’s perfect ability to control all impossible powerful aura.
And finally, usher in a series of military-inspired designs, with angular collars, broad shoulders, high-waisted pants, and other elements, also incorporating patchwork details, allowing the style to embody not only a futuristic sci-fi feel but also adding a sense of awe-inspiring dominance to the female models, creating a memorable conclusion to the entire Louis Vuitton 2022 early spring presentation.
