【#ParisFashionWeek】: Everyone gathers for the CHANEL 2021 Fall/Winter show, chasing a dream about Paris together!

The CHANEL Fall/Winter 2021 show was successfully held yesterday. This season, the show moved from the familiar Grand Palais in Paris to a small club. Without the vast setting, there was a more intimate, casual, and comfortable atmosphere. Creative Director Virginie Viard wanted a small space that felt like home, where models could freely do their makeup and change clothes, to present the rich winter collection.

Before the big show started, the brand had already invited a group of brand friends including GD G-Dragon, Blackpink member Jennie, supermodel Liu Wen, etc., to release signed black and white fashion photos, among which the rumored couple GD and Jennie “appeared together” for the first time, causing a temporary buzz.

In addition to fashion photos, the brand has specially prepared creative short films for the stars to watch the show, and also released a series of promotional videos shot by the duo photographers Inez & Vinoodh on the streets of the Saint-Germain district in Paris.

An almost 11-minute fashion show begins with Diana Ross’s classic song “Do You Know Where You’re Going To,” with shots of models getting ready in front of the mirror, as if a group of girls are eagerly preparing for a Girls Night out.

The big show officially kicked off afterwards, blending two inspirations, one being Virginie Viard’s beloved ski holiday, and the other continuing from the 1970s to a very cool Parisian chic today.

As skiing becomes more and more popular, CHANEL injects workwear style into ski suits with classic white diamond quilting, embroidered with red and blue floral patterns, or in pink herringbone tweed, paired with high heels, creating a super stylish Chanel look for skiing; the warm furry mid-calf boots often seen in winter are paired with a classic Little Black Dress, looking charming and elegant under the swaying skirt.

The iconic Little Black Jacket has also been transformed into a winter fluffy look, bringing a touch of elegance and cuteness to the classic Little Black Jacket.

Club culture in 1970s Paris also inspired Virginie Viard. Models wore bling bling suspender mini skirts, ready to start a party at any moment. Adorned with pearl suspenders, long necklaces, and waist chains, the outfits were rich in layers, resembling Parisian girls attending evening parties, exuding an elegant and sexy charm.

The dynamic and sexy elegance of Parisian girls not only brings endless inspiration to Virginie Viard, but also adds infinite brilliance and charm to the city of Paris.
