【#Milan Fashion Week】Get on Salvatore Ferragamo’s time machine and step into the future fashion world.

Appreciate the Salvatore Ferragamo Fall/Winter 2021 men’s and women’s collection, and you will find that many scenes seem familiar, with a hint of sci-fi movie shadows like “The Matrix” and “Metropolis.” This season, creative director Paul Andrew started from classic sci-fi movies to create a series of futuristic fashion clothing, allowing models to cross between virtual and reality, bringing a series of unconventional and innovative looks that break traditional boundaries.

Salvatore Ferragamo, known for its mature style in the past, is now taking on the role of imagining the future, with a breakthrough in color alone. The series is filled with futuristic silver and white colors, with translucent materials reflecting colorful light, and a matte texture that brings a mysterious feeling.

When it comes to the future, we have to mention the image of “cyborgs.” Models have their bodies painted silver and wear designs resembling armor, which inevitably sparks endless imagination about future technology.

It is worth mentioning that Salvatore Ferragamo has always had a great concern for environmental protection and sustainable development, so this series will also feature many environmentally friendly materials. For example, polyester skirts made from recyclable second-hand materials, fashionable items made from certified recyclable and second-hand wool and cashmere, and so on.

In addition to the runway and clothing, accessories this season are equally impressive, with the brand’s iconic F wedge heels featuring a galvanized finish, echoing the theme of the future.

The handbag is made of rubber material, with the brand’s iconic Gancini embossing, making even oversized handbags appear light and easy to carry. In Ferragamo’s eyes, the future is bright and full of challenges and sunshine, believing that this groundbreaking series aims to convey a positive message about the future.
