【#Milan Fashion Week】In addition to romance and elegance, Valentino is also the embodiment of style and punk!

Milan Fashion Week comes to its final day, welcoming Valentino’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection themed “Act Collection” to conclude. This marks the brand’s departure from its previous shows in Paris, returning to Milan since last season, and this is already the third time showing at Milan Fashion Week. Before the grand show, the brand paid tribute to the local culture of Milan with a short film featuring the beautiful things in the city, with flower shops and pastry shops on the streets all rendered in Valentino’s signature red.

The fashion show is held at the historic Piccolo Teatro di Mailano in Milan, which was built in 1947 and is Italy’s first permanent theater. It is considered one of Europe’s cultural centers and is known as the “immortal symbol of Italy.” It is worth mentioning that this is the first time the theater has opened to the public for events since the pandemic closure, making it very significant.

Even though this is still a fashion show without an audience, it is still a brilliant performance. The pitch-black surroundings opened with the voice of London singer COSIMA, and the models appeared one after another under the spotlight, kicking off a stylish and romantic fashion journey.

This season, a total of 66 men’s and women’s outfits were released, all in black and white tones, with a few eye-catching gold and sparkling black sequined suits added in. It still embodies the familiar elegance of Valentino, but with a touch of punk and edgy flavor.

The black and white outfit is embellished with checks and geometric patterns, creating a strong visual impact and a distinct image. The addition of hollowed-out, grid, and carved elements adds a three-dimensional effect to the outfit.

In addition to bringing daily wear in the series, there are also evening gowns, flowing chiffon, and swaying skirts that continue Valentino’s ethereal style. Suits and neutral outfits with white shirts run through the designs for both men and women, echoing the brand’s embrace of diversity.

In terms of handbags, the Rockstud design is still the brand’s signature, paired with the military-style boots that are heavily featured this season, bringing a new chapter to the elegant and romantic Valentino girl, showcasing a different kind of style and punk temperament.
