The series made its debut at ComplexCon Hong Kong from March 22 to March 24. Earlier, Converse collaborated with Chinese emerging designer FENG CHEN WANG to launch the highly acclaimed 2-in-1 CHUCK 70 concept shoe joint series. Two months later, the cross-border collaboration between the two parties returned with a groundbreaking new concept of “two,” merging together by stacking “two into one,” bringing together two unique and independent individuals to create new possibilities.
FENG CHEN WANG excels in deconstructive cutting design. When the 2-in-1 CHUCK 70 canvas shoes made their debut at Fashion Week, she raised questions, inspiring the creation of this series based on establishing connections between people. In this era where connections between people are most important, the design concept of “Create Next: My Half” interprets “creating the next future together with your other half,” showcasing the vision for canvas shoes and bringing two black and white Chuck 70 colorways. FENG CHEN WANG personally explains the latest design, inviting everyone to appreciate the new Converse x FENG CHEN WANG 2-in-1 CHUCK 70 collaboration, explore creative inspiration together, and embark on a journey to find “my other half.”
The new collaborative series will be available at selected EXI.T, HBX stores, and Converse Causeway Bay Hysan Place stores.
