Calling all sneakerheads! Sotheby’s first-ever NIKE skateboard shoe auction, featuring 100 rare NIKE SB pairs!

「Nike SB | 20 Years」

For sneaker enthusiasts, Nike SB is a familiar name. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the brand’s skateboarding series, Sotheby’s will host the first online auction of NIKE skate shoes, “Nike SB | 20 Years”, showcasing a series of the rarest and most popular classic sneaker styles on the market, demonstrating their global trendsetting charm!

The first series of Nike SB Dunks made a splash in 2002, with its fashionable and stylish design winning the hearts of street fashionistas, sparking a global trend of skateboard shoes. Led by the late Nike design director Sandy Bodecker, the brand reinterpreted the 1980s Dunk basketball shoes, adding upgraded features to meet the needs of the skateboarding community.

This event brings 100 pairs of NIKE SB sneakers, including iconic and affordable styles, as well as highly valuable and sought-after collectibles in the brand’s history, with a total estimated value of up to 6.8 million Hong Kong dollars! Here are some selected highlights to introduce to everyone.
