When it comes to Loewe’s classic handbag designs, many people will also think of the Puzzle Bag with its tangram-like shape, the Barcelona Bag adorned with triangular fastenings, and the Hammock Bag inspired by a hammock. In the spring/summer 2022 season, creative director Jonathan Anderson has introduced a new member to the brand’s handbag family, the Luna Bag.
“Luna” means “moon” in Spanish. The bag design features a three-dimensional silhouette with sleek and elegant lines, resembling a crescent moon in the sky. The opening and closing position is designed with curved lips, paired with comfortable shoulder straps, making it easy to clip the bag lightly under the armpit, creating a casual and natural style.
The Luna Bag, which debuted in the Spring/Summer 2022 season, is made of smooth calfskin and features a classic Anagram jacquard canvas shoulder strap design. It is available in black, dark brown, avocado green, and gray options. In addition, the bag also comes in different combinations of jacquard canvas and leather colors, including dark blue with black, green with avocado green, or brown with dark brown. In terms of details, the metal eyelets on the bag body make it easy for users to attach an extra shoulder strap or hang decorations, injecting a personal and exclusive style into the Luna Bag.
