A popular best-selling bag is often the cash cow of a brand. To establish a fashion brand, one of the designer’s important “tasks” is to launch hot-selling bags for it. Like Burberry’s current creative director Riccardo Tisci, in recent years, he has created popular bags such as the TB Bag, Lola Bag, and Pocket Bag, and recently personally designed the new Olympia Bag.
For the new handbag “Olympia Bag,” the brand has opened themed pop-up stores around the world, with the latest one officially landing at Landmark in Central. At the same time, an Olympia experience space has been set up on the 5th floor of Pedder Building, showcasing the brand’s ambition. The Olympia Bag, with its new moon-shaped curves and sculptural structure, exudes a sporty vibe. Therefore, the pop-up store takes inspiration from the world of Olympia, featuring designs reminiscent of Olympia’s arched arches, as well as a statue of the goddess of hope, Elpis, showcasing praise for handbag aesthetics, craftsmanship, and inspiration.
Limited edition handbags in exclusive colors such as marsh green, yellow sapphire blue, marigold leather styles, and mini leather zip styles can be found at the Hong Kong station pop-up store.
In order to let customers understand the inspiration behind the handbags, the brand opened the Olympia experience space on the 5th floor of the nearby Pedder Building. In addition to being able to appreciate the behind-the-scenes production process videos of the handbags, you can also get up close to admire the details of the Elpis statue and Olympia handbags.
