Under the helm of Valentino’s Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli, the connection between fashion and art seems more inseparable. In addition to the 2021 Spring/Summer Haute Couture fashion show held at the Colonna Palace in Rome, enlisting famous writers to create text-only advertisements, and releasing the art book “The Valentino Garavani VLogo Signature book,” Pierpaolo Piccioli has once again delivered a creative masterpiece! This time, collaborating with 5 artists from around the world, launching the Valentino Collezione Milano art collaboration project, allowing each artist to choose a fashion item from Valentino Garavani and reinterpret it with artistic creativity.

From Japan, Iori Nagashima depicts a scene of a figure holding the Valentino Garavani Roman Stud Crochet handbag in the rain with a brush, while South Korean artist Nahum Kim interprets the Valentino Garavani Roman Stud Top Handle handbag with a fantastical and surreal painting style.

The theme of handbags also includes Louise Giovanelli from the UK, who chose the Valentino Garavani Roman Stud Top Handle handbag and created a hyper-realistic oil painting. French artist Alexis Ralaivao, on the other hand, used a striking pink color to paint a portrait based on the same handbag, with parts of the person in the painting seemingly deliberately cropped out.

Chinese artist Zhang Zihao also used two figures wearing Valentino Garavani Crochet sneakers as the main characters in the painting, each piece expressing the artist’s infinite creativity.
