Following the “Le Pliage Filet” fishnet bag created in collaboration with Filt, Longchamp once again brings a collaborative bag! This time, it is a crossover collaboration with the trendsetter Edison Chen and Kybum Lee, co-founders of the fashion brand Emotionally Unavailable, with the collection design centered around boxing!
The Longchamp x Emotionally Unavailable collaboration created a humorous slogan “Been a CHAMP a LONG time”, which has become a design element throughout the entire collection, conveying the spirit of never giving up and encouraging everyone to face daily life with a positive attitude.
The design is based on the classic Le Pliage® nylon and leather handbags, with a total of 5 styles in the nylon handbag series, including shoulder bags, small tote bags, backpacks, waist bags designed with “Been a CHAMP a LONG time”, as well as large travel bags with a red heart pattern with EU and Longchamp horse monogram patterns.
The Le Pliage® Cuir leather handbag introduces for the first time a large black soft lambskin travel bag that can be used as both a backpack and a handbag. It also includes a small Mini Pliage handbag, an ultra-mini Nano Pliage monogram pattern handbag, and a card holder neck accessory that can be used as a wallet, practical and stylish.
This collaboration also brings unisex sportswear and leisurewear, as well as limited edition boxing-inspired pieces, such as black satin boxing robes and shorts, women’s black lambskin short jackets, and leather leggings, echoing the concept of becoming a champion boxer.
To celebrate the birth of the series, Longchamp will also set up a limited-time store at ifc in Central, turning the store into a boxer’s collection space. They have specially borrowed the champion “gold belt” and trophies with commemorative value from “Hong Kong Boxing King” Cao Xingru for public display. In addition to admiring the new series up close, you can also witness the glory that the boxing champion fought hard to win back, and feel the champion spirit of “Been a CHAMP a LONG time” that never gives up.
